Workin for the man is starting to get to me again. the entrepreneurial spirit in me is starting make my leg twitch again but i have a problem. i want this to be the last company i start, i don't have enough gas left in me to keep doing this every 7 or so years so i want something that will last. i want a product company, no more body shops, no more consulting shops, none of it. i want a product. but that got me to thinking, Bill Gates started Microsoft with a shady deal with IBM, Ebay got started because the dudes girlfriend liked to sell peez dispensers, Google got started because a couple of grad students built a better mousetrap for the sole reason to see if they could do it. in the world we live in, do you guys think another company like those are out there? personally i don't think so, i think the area especially in the relm of software services are so oversaturated with idiots with stupid ideas trying to sell to everyone that will listen that a new really good idea never really has a chance to be heard.
maybe try to resurrect something like MP3.com. i miss that site. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "The Java Posse" group.
