JSP seems to bring strengths and weaknesses similar to a scripting language: has some good flexibility out of the box, but doesn't enforce much discipline. So it really comes down to what the circumstances warrant. Sometimes it's a shoe-in, other times, it's a terrible tangled up mess. My vote: 3.
