Thanks, I sometimes attain bad habits in foreign languages and become
completely blind to them.

Yup, there's generally a more liberal tone in Europe - even if not
perfect. Moreover, we do not have completely separate 3G frequency
bands making it easy to jump to the cheapest carrier. Where I live,
you don't even loose your number as you change, since carrier by law
must be able to transfer these around.

They didn't truly commit to it I think. If they wanted to they
could've pushed the Nexus One during the superbowl etc. Who knows, we
might never know the full story - I suspect perhaps pressure from
partners did it. Too bad it didn't work though, for the benefit of
consumers on the other side of the pond.
