Message understood, and thanks for the feedback. I guess it's not necessarily an obvious thing for people coming with a long enterprise experience and moving to this new market. Some further comments about the Google market: 1. In the light of what we're saying, it's great that the market is not exclusive. This means that the most advanced users that express their desire to cooperate in testing can enable the "accept all sources" thing and install updates as frequently as you want from their site. A thing that iPhone guys can't do, unless they jailbreak it, right? (after years of discussions, I'm not still sure about this) 2. The idea of enabling an auto-update of all aplications in Froyo is good _IF_ Google adds the capability for users to switch back to a previous version.
