What about the HTC Desire? It's pretty much the same thing, except
with optical trackball, FM radio, more memory and Sense UI (and just
received Froyo).

While I too love the build quality of the N1, I do think the HTC
Legend is superior here, being cut from one piece of aluminum. And in
contrast, the Milestone and X10 feels like cheap plastic.
