GWT could well be using the GPL'd version. With GWT, Google aren't actually shipping a product "containing" Java, instead they're "selling" a service that runs on top of a copy of the Java runtime that they have internally. This also means they can change as much as they want, without having to release anything back via open-source.
As always, IANAL, but I'll again add my voice to all those who have already stated that the suit against android has no effect on GWT whatsoever.
