@William The GWT is whatever you want it to be, pick your favourite IDE a browser and so on. The browser is the ubiquitous platform that everyone has access too. Im not discussing the merits of fat clients aka Swing and those in a browser. THe number of regular people out there running web start is a small number in comparison. if you like Swing so be it, theres no doubt its compelling but please dont compare it to yesterdays web stacks (at least struts was not mentioned) when something newer, more capable is around.
