"lee" isn't his last name. Hence the confusion. It's Berners-Lee. And he isn't credited with the creation of the internet, he created HTML. Vint Cerf is more a creator of the Internet, since he created tcp/ip.
Also... What is wrong with you. You've been misquoting people then accusing them of backtracking. And you're getting your facts wrong. And you're making wild assertions about whose fault this or that part of Java is. Maybe back up and re-state your basic thesis here so we can better understand what the heck you're talking about.
