Actually I'd say that is quite generous for Scala.  Most other measurements
would place it at the bottom.  E.g., there is more production code around
for VB than there is for Scala but Scala wins by that measure.

Perhaps it shows popularity among people who program in their spare time or
for open source projects.

Does that include private github projects, by the way?
