Sure, Google Search, Chrome, Gmail, Earth, Maps, Sky Map, etc. are all
unbearably horrible to use.

The article doesn't make much sense, to me. For example:

is Apple’s, the latter is Google’s."

Yet, Android isn't free for consumers and Apple gives away plenty of
advertising data. And people buy lots and lots of Windows PCs, so they must
love them even more than Apple PCs.
