Oh, and I didn't address your idea of a doc store. Document storage is
actually a part of this, but the survey metadata, IMO, would work
better stored in a database. It does need to be a bit dynamic and
there are other data bits that are more dynamic and must be linked to
the survey metadata. Sure, that doesn't preclude the storage of
metadata in documents, but it seems easier to go with a database
model. Something to think about though.
