Just caught up on this episode - Wow, this has to be one of the most
engaging podcasts I've listened to in a while. What is really
interesting is that although there's perhaps just a tiny edge of
acrimony left between the two camps, people are perhaps beginning to
see the possible "synergies" (sorry Dick) we could perhaps achieve by
breaking down these silos a bit more.

And the hint of 'and what we would really like to do is take something
from one container and run it in another' (heavily paraphrased) is
exactly where I see things going... We'll only get there if we start
breaking down some of these artificial walls based on some concept of
'I love profit' or 'I hate profit' which is irrelevant - we're all
techies, we all like cool, let's just get things done, better.
