I suppose I am one of those folks who uses both.  At work, we have
been experimenting with mercurial as a source control replacement for
about 9 months now (we're currently on SCCS).  The main benefits we've
seen are related to centralized repository management.  We began
recently using RhodeCode to manage repository access and has almost
sealed the deal (it's essentially GitHub, but you host it).  On the
other hand, I use git a lot for personal projects and open source that
I am working with.  Git is a lot more powerful, but is equally more
difficult to pick up on.
