You might have misunderstood that link: the person was just suggesting to
install AdFree, but we still don't know what caused this.

The post seems to hint that it's Angry Birds that caused the ad to display,
though. Phil, are you sure you weren't playing? Or maybe the game was in the
background? (still not an excuse to do that)

By the way, this kind of thing is pretty easy to do on Android, try "Chrome
to Phone" for a good example (and by good, I mean "useful"). Send a URL from
your desktop to your phone and less than a second later, it pops up on your
phone. Scary.
