Hi, As predicted my a number of sources, Nokia will use Windows Mobile 7 as its smartphone operating system going forward. Symbian will remain for a while to cover dumb phones, MeeGo will become an experimental platform. And yes, there will be substantial layoffs. One has to wonder if the Nokia board of directors hired Microsoft Office guy Elop for exactly this purpose.
