Hi,
I have an application built in Java Swing and I show there some html
content in a JEditorPane.
Even a small html page takes 2-3 seconds to be rendered.
Almost the tags are tr and td.
Do you have any suggestions to get a faster rendering? Any better
engine?
I don't know about the speed, but in my experience I've never seen such
a long time. You might try "Cobra" for HTML and FlyingSaucer for XHTML
(if you can generate the HTML and so you can make sure it's well formed,
the latest is the better option). Both are much richer renderers than
the plan JEditor.
