I can vouch for this book. It was my primary source of revision for
SCJP and I passed first time with it. It really helps to open your
eyes as to how the exam questions try to catch you out. It can be
disheartening at first when you have Java experience but keep getting
caught out by example questions which manage to trick you. After going
through the practice questions I got used to knowing what to look out
for and the kinds of tricks which could be used in the questions.

Also I never thought a professional certification revision book could
make me laugh out loud. Kathy Sierra new that these kinds of books
could be tedious and dull and so tries to add some humour in and
amongst to lighten it up.

Volatile modifier applied to project managers...priceless.
