Long time listener, first time poster. I just finished listening to #342, and near the end the discussion started to drift towards patents. One of the comments from the crowd was alluding to this talk:

There are some interesting parallels to software, though many differences as well (just read some of the comments). Dick cut off the discussion saying what we heard was "the beginning of the Java Posse Patent Show."
