Uuurrr... isn't SunSPOT a specialized Java ME with CLDC 1.1 ? And as we know, Java Card is not Java -- it's a Java-like language for programming ISO 7816 and 14443 APDUs, invented by Schlumberger and passed on to Sun. Actually Java Card was a major income earner for Sun.
