2011/5/31 Fabrizio Giudici <[email protected]> > I disagree. This means that the QA process is not multi platform
Possibly, but this is concerning anyway. We now have good reasons to think that from now on, the same process will keep happening as new versions come out (Windows first, Mac and Linux, some undetermined time later). This doesn't inspire confidence coming from a company who's been using "Write once, run anywhere" as their motto for the past fifteen years. This strikes me as a product pushed by a company that's more interested in making splashes with flashy announcements than actually listening to users and offering them what they really need. And let's face it, JavaFX was nothing but a cheap way to have something to announce at JavaOne, no matter how vaporware (it's pretty pathetic that it's still vaporware three years later). Myself, I think the world has already shrugged and moved on, and the market is just not interested in JavaFX. All these resources would probably be better used if they were put back on Swing, which has been stagnating for years. -- Cédric -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "The Java Posse" group.
