He also authored a competing framework, which he recommends as the only alternative to Fork/Join at the end of his article. This is what I find pretty ironic: one of the good things in academia research, which he mocks in his email earlier, is that publications of this kind are usually followed by a whole list of references that have to be diverse and cover all kinds of topics by a lot of various authors.
