Although http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javafx/downloads/devpreview-1429449.html reports Linux to be 32-bit, http://docs.oracle.com/javafx/2.0/release_notes_linux/jfxpub-release_notes_linux.htm reports that it works on Ubuntu 10.4 or later 32-bit or 64-bit. Whether this covers Fedora, Debian, etc. is clearly an issue of doubt. There is also an implication that you have to use the Oracle JDK, that OpenJDK is not sufficient to the task. -- Russel. ============================================================================= Dr Russel Winder t: +44 20 7585 2200 voip: sip:[email protected] 41 Buckmaster Road m: +44 7770 465 077 xmpp: [email protected] London SW11 1EN, UK w: www.russel.org.uk skype: russel_winder
