Actually, the quote that I liked about the original article at  
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2012/03/07/oracle_java_9_10_roadmap/ was this:

So they have put aside the petty half-political squabbles with IBM and 
finally started working with the currently de-facto existing standard 
modularisation technology...
