I get some articles via Twitter as well, but it's too hit or miss for my taste, so I tend to rely more on RSS feeds. I have a Yahoo pipe that helps me filter some of the traffic, and then subscribe to the results as an RSS feed.
I probably do a little bit more than the average RSS consumer does, so I haven't really been able to find one tool that does everything I want.
