As far as I'm aware (sorry, no link) there is still a difference between OpenJDK and Oracle's JDK. There are portions of Oracle's JDK that are proprietary, but from what I'm told, it's a very small fraction, and it's generally not in areas that we developers need to worry about programming for day-to-day. However, those portions may be graphics related, which could explain why JetBrains feels the need to display a warning.
