Hi, generally sounds OK. As for the idea of collecting bounties for some features: you can try it OTOH maybe it would be easier to keep the whole model simple. Of course set up your expectations - how many users, conversion rate between basic/pro version, ... IDE plugin users is a niche market but IJ users are probably more accustomed to pay for their tools. I did something similar few weeks ago with the Android plugin for NetBeans. So far I can say it works better than asking for donations and keeps me committed to the project. And thanks to JamesJ for the tip.
