If you haven't read it yet, I can't recommend Feathers' Working Effectively With Legacy Code highly enough. Unless you're working in a completely greenfield project there will be good lessons to be found.
I've also heard many glowing recommendations for Evans' Domain Driven Design. I've only read about a quarter of it, but so far it's living up to the recommendations.
