I don't remember in Netbeans 6.1, but in Netbeans 6.5, you have to
click on a class in the project window to see its hierarchy in the
navigator window.
Then you may choose the type of view in the drop down menu, just under
the navigator window name.
Try this to see what I mean:
Open the inspector window (or click on it if it is already open).
Switch to the navigator window.
You should have a no View available in it.
Then click on Person class in the project window.
The Member view appears.
Then change to Tree in the drop down menu, you'll see another view,
etc..
Next, you can play with the little icons at the bottom of the view to
see inherited members, non public members, etc., just in the Members
view.
