Yes, that's the same under Netbeans 6.5 beta, though if you choose
Java EE category, there's a bean type, and from there once the project
is created, you can add a javabeans object. Very weird.
I think you need the BeanInfo editor, but I have not tried it
successfully up to now.
Probably the best way to see how this works is to install Netbeans
5.5, but then it would be not very useful for the future.
Or better ask the Netbeans user mailing list. I know that support for
javabeans was dropped in Netbeans 6.0, apparently resurrected in
Netbeans 6.1, but probably not with full features. I've seen some
ranting about it since this is the same in 6.5 beta and it appears
that it will probably be enhanced in Netbeans 7, so that's not for
today :-)
