Heba, I personally found no need for the check sum so re-wrote the example without it for the homework. I guess you can leave the check sums in but they will not match once you do your conversion (in <> out). This was not something I explored.
Not sure if there is a right or wrong way so long as you write the two new 'extends' classes and one of them does the upper case conversion.
