Hi, NetBeans 6.5 works fine; but there many features and presentation that are different to 5.5. To follow the JavaBean lesson and do the exercises, it is advisable to use 5.5(the topic's instruction); the features used and presented in this topic are based on 5.5, many of them are different to/unavailable in both 6.1 and 6.5. Having said that, both 6.1 and 6.5 works well to do the homework for the topic. But since 5.5 was to be used for the exercise, it might as well be used to the homework too. Since 6.5 was only released officially about 5 weeks ago, I used 6.1 for all the other topics in this course.
Hope this will help to clear the confusion when doing the JavaBean topic. norman On Dec 9, 12:40 am, Kafka <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hello there: > there is a tutorial movie on the Netbeans website. that is pretty > detail for the beginner. > I think Netbeans 6.5 is great and handy.
