Add the path in the following way-

   1. Double click *My Computer*
   2. Double click *Program Files*
   3. Look out for the folder named *Java*, open it
   4. U will find 2 folders i.e. - *jdk1.6.0_07 *& *jre1.6.0_07*
   5. Open *jdk1.6.0_07*
   6. U will find a folder named *bin,* open it
   7. Now left click on the *Address *bar which has written on it like this
   - *C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_07\bin*
   8. Close the *My Computer *window
   9. Right click on *My Computer* icon & click on *Properties*
   10. Click on *Advanced* tab
   11. Now click on *Environment Variables*
   12. A new window will open, there u will find 2 boxes i.e. - *User
   variables* & *System variables*
   13. In the* System variables *box, search for the variable named *Path.
   Just click on that & click on **Edit* button
   14. U will see 2 fields i.e - *Variable name *&* Variable value*
   15. In the *Variable value* field, click on it.
   16. Go to the end of the line & *put a semi-colon(;) and press ctrl+v*
   17. Click *OK*
   18. Click* OK*
   19. Click* OK*
   20. *Reboot your system*

NOTE-Here the *default installation folder is C:\Program Files\Java*. If
however, u have changed the installation folder while installing then look
for that folder named *Java. *The rest remains very much the same.
