Hi to all,

yes thank you for your replies.

regarding the executable jar file, when I double clicked it, it ask me which
program I am going to associate to open the file EVEN there is already an
installed jre 1.6. So still cannot run it by double clicking. Maybe I need
to read more about jar commands because my Java desktop application has
several packages, and what I was double clicking is the generated jar file
by the netbeans 6.5. Furthermore, a lib directory also MUST exists within
the same directory of your jar file in order to run. I have googled some
solutions, but it didn't work for me.

For better understanding here is the directory structure of my dist folder
in which the generated jar file of netbeans resides:

/dist /lib
       /README
       /nameOfJarFile.jar

--ECLIPSE: I could not try to make it an executable jar on eclipse because
it is based on Swing famework.

I'll try to post it here when i solved the problem. Thanks
