Hi,

you have this error because you didn't set the classpath variable.
On windows xp you go to configuration screen/system and than click on 
the advanced tab.
On the button of the screen you'll see a button with the label 
systemvariables (I think it is in the Englisch version) Click on that 
and set search for 2 variabels. Path and classpath.
In the path variable you add the path to the directory where you'll find 
de java.exe, javac.exe etc files. In de classpath variable you add the 
path to your java files.
