Hello Sara

You can set path by two ways in windows

first one is temporary
and second one is permanent

I will be telling you how to set a permanent path.

by setting permanent path you can compile and run you java program in
any drive in your hard disk

Step 1:
Go to My Computer option and select properties.

Step 2:
>From tabs select Advance option
in this option you will find a button of "Environment Variable".Click
on it , new window will pop up.

Step 3:
In this new window you you have set your path in "System Variable"

Step 4:
In System variable choose "path" and click "edit". there is
possibility that there can be several variable defined in that. you
don't have to care about that , just put ";(semi colon)" at the end
and paste the path of bin there and again put semicolon";".

Step 5:
Now start your cmd console and write "javac" it will show you the
several connections it means you did it. And you can compile and run
your program from anywhere in your hard disk directly.

IT WILL DEFINETLY HELP YOU !!
