At the end of the compilation, the output window will display somthing like this.. To run this application from the command line without Ant, try: java -jar "C:\Users\Halli\Documents\NetBeansProjects\DesktopApplication1\dist\DesktopApplication1.jar" There is your .jar file.. When I do this I get the following message coming up : The following JavaBeans components cannot be installed into the palette from the project: My Bean. You can install them directly from their JAR by using the Palette Manager My problem is that I do not know where to find the JAR that they are talking about.
