in windows vista, either right click on cmd and choose run as administrator & continue or accept all further dialogs OR alternatively, click start button, in search area type cmd & press ctrl+shift+enter. this will aslo run cmd as administrator... i hope this solves your problem...
if it does not solve ur problem, let me know the location where u saved your files... if the location is c:\program files\java\jdk...\bin then also vista gives an access denied message.
