If you are planning to load content containing the TinyMCE editor using
the AJAX.Updater you should just give up now!!

I wrote a pile of code just to get it to not break the next editor
instance when using AJAX to update a div that already contained an
editor instance.

If you are using JS windows with static editor instances, then it
"should" work fine!

I've moved to the FCKeditor which is quite nice, not only because it
works with the AJAX.Updater, it also has a half decent plugin structure.

Subject: Re: [Javawin] Compatibility with TinyMCE?

Booshan, it works fine with both scriptaculous, prototype, and javawin.
It all depends on the setup you are doing, so show me the page you are
working on and I'll tell you what needs to be done.

To use tinymce in a prototype, you should include tinymce code before
all others. The rest depend on how you are using it...

Felix.

Folks,

I am not able to load TinyMCE editor inside a window? Have
anyone tried it?

TinyMCE is not compatible with Scriptaculous and so there was a
suggested change. After I made that change it was working fine along
with Scriptaculous.

But it is not working with Prototype Windows. Appreciate anyhelp
regarding this.

        Thanks
