When I built the http://ajaxwidgets.com library I had to REMOVE the
Effects.Fade from the Draggable to give support for IE7 since it basically
rendered as a black box in the beginning of a drag…

It’s a really “drag” ;)

 

Edit the window javascript file, set the effect in the new Draggable
property to mothing and of you go J

A bonus is that dragging your window no does NOT eat 99% of the CPU…!!

 

Btw, if you’re using ASP.NET feel free to download our free library with a
contained window with WYSIWYG support for Visual Studio… J
