Hi, I posted it on Forum too but I'm actually desperate and nobody have answered there, so I need to ask it here too.
I'm with a serious problem hear with prototype-window. I'm opening a window and put content inside with setAjaxContent. When this content is too much and create scroll bars inside the prototype window, if I drag it, IE crash immediately. I tested it with IE6/Win98, IE6/XP, IE6/Wine and IE7/Win2003 with PWC 1.2 (w/ latest stable versions of prototype and scriptaculous) and 1.3 (w/ bundled rc prototype). It crash IE when drag a window with scroll bars at 99% of the time, some times it don't crash, but if I insist and move the window again it crash for sure. And some times even without scroll bars, if I open about 4 or 5 windows and start to drag like crazy it crash IE too, but is more difficult to do like this. If it makes difference, I'm using <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd";> to get Strict mod on all browsers because I'm using jsdomenubar on the same page and IE7 don't work well wit it in Quirk mode. (IEs don't work well at all. lol) Firefox 2.0 works flawless. A link to see it: http://beta.ghsix.com.br/pwc/src/main.php Click the 1st menu option, and the 4th inside it to open a decent window. Click on left button (Gravar) to make it create the same scroll bars that crash with me (it was a only a form serialize test), and drag that window in any IE browser to see it crashing. The page it is open inside the window with setAjaxContent is digitacao3.php (same path) that generate the HTML code as response. ps. I have 2 more days to get it working without crash IE or abandon the window idea on my site/system. Please, any help!!!
