The version is actually 0.10.0 (not 0.1.0).

As far as changes between the versions, I posted all changes on the 
mailing list, usually with some discussion about the changes.  Note that 
the "1.0.0beta2" version was before I "took over" the API from the last 
maintainer - it is very old, and as the developerworks site states, 
development has moved to the sourceforge site.

The current API is the 0.10.0 version.
