He's just one of the users of the jSyncManager. Last I heard from him several weeks ago he was considering this effort, but hadn't heard anything more on this until this post the other day.
I'll keep you apprised. I've heard from a few people that they were going to undertake such a task (including some from a few big corporations), so perhaps if the initial code output is in decent shape, and we can get the developer to release it under a mutually agreeable license, we can all collaborate on making this work on all platforms.
