Presanna, you are correct that our implementation is for the host USB.  However, I can't answer the question about the J2ME... perhaps someone on the developers list can say?

Sir/Madam,

        I would like to gather more information regarding the status of the Java specification for communication using USB ports (JSR 80). My current work requires me to work with mobiles and PC's connected by a USB cable with two way communication. Is it possible to make use of this specification with the Java Microedition environment? From what I have read, the specification is for a host controller on the PC's and not to be used on mobile phones.

        I would appreciate it very much if you can point me in the right direction. Awaiting your kind reply.
