It's been a looong time since any email around here...anyway, at the request of a javax.usb user (IBM) I've added a generic UsbTracer interface to the common RI package. This should make it easy to add tracing to the common RI and/or any platform imp that uses the common RI. The implementation of the UsbTracer interface is controlled by settings in the javax.usb.properties file. Simple implementations are provided for Null (no tracing), stdout, and stderr. More to come hopefully.
Anyone interested, please take a look and let everyone know if there are any problems or limitations to the UsbTracer interface, or comments/suggestions.
