I'm not sure what the problem is there, although I did not create the LibUsb implementation. It's possible there is a bug in the LibUsb implementation that is not correctly detecting the active configuration number of each device. You may want to open a bug on the sourceforge page, but I can't guarantee that anyone will work on it. I have no experience with the libusb implementation.
