Hi,

I am trying to use a USB RFID Reader to read the EPC code associated with a
RIFD tag. The device uses HID report number 1 to establish communication
with the host. I am supposed to write the application in Java.

I also understand that the JAVAX API (JSR80) requires a 2.4.* kernel to
function properly. To proceed furthur, i want to know whether the JSR80
would work with the latest 2.6.* kernel as well, like with Redhat 5.2 or
Fedora 9?

Thank you
Regards
Rahul Bourothu
