I prefer to use long spikes, on a rubber track surface I use 1/4's up front
and 1/2's in the back. The long spikes in back give me a secure feeling that I
wont slip around on my plant. I know that they may seem long, but that is what
works for me. I have just recently discoverd this combo of spikes after trying
multiple combinations for the past year.On a grass runway suface I prefer
1/2's up front and 3/4's in back, if the field is sloppy I might even switch
to 1 inchers in back just to make sure that I have a confident feeling that I
wont slip around and I can throw with my full power.I also use the Nike Zom
Javelin boots for my shoes.Of course you gotta try everything until you find
what is comfortable to you and then go with it.
Good Luck All,
Nate
