The short answer is no jaws can't tell you what a given graphic is unless it
has already been labeled.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Reading Graphics

Hey Guys,

I receive several emails that have little pictures or graphics in them. Is
there a setting that I
can adjust somewhere to get JAWS to let me know what the graphic or picture
is? I am using JAWS 7.0
and Windows XP.

Merry Christmas,
Scooter
