Lisa -

That was terrible advice. Every expert in computer performance and security
that I know of recommends a _regular_ registry cleaning and this means
weekly or, at most, every two weeks. I've used RegScrubXP for years and I've
always selected every entry that it found and have never had a single
registry-related problem.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Re: Reg-Scrub and Scripts

Hello everyone,
Maybe someone can clear something up for me. Advice that was given to me on
another list was do not clean out my registry unless I want to screw up my
computer. I'm not sure if I should try this program, or not because if I
mess something up I won't be able to fix it. If I were to use RegScrubXP to
clean out my registry, and things did get messed up, would a system restore
fix the problem? Just curious.
Take care,
Lisa
