This is the first time the merge utility hasn't worked for me, but it's definitely not working right. So are you saying to copy only the JDF file manually? Is that the correct file? Or are you saying that I have no choice but to reenter all the changes again I made in the dictionary manager for version 7.0?

It's unreliable at best and the fact that somebody else has used it without bad results; or that you've used it in the past without bad results; is meaningless. Just copy the files manually. Do _not_ copy .jcf, .jss, .jsb, .jkm, or .jsd files.
